- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices of deli ham (about 1 lb)
- 12 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the rolls: Without separating the rolls, cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
- Layer the sliders: Layer the slices of ham evenly over the bottom half of the rolls, followed by the slices of Swiss cheese.
- Top the sliders: Place the top half of the rolls on top of the ham and cheese layers.
- Make the butter mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the sliders: Pour or brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let the sliders cool slightly before slicing into individual sandwiches. Serve warm.
