- 1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (30 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and grease a 9ร13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the thawed hash browns evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and optional diced bell peppers over the hash browns.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the hash brown and sausage layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40โ45 minutes, or until the casserole is set in the center and golden brown on top.
