- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cacao or higher)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line an 8ร8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the coconut sugar, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.

- You can replace the coconut sugar with maple syrup or honey for a different flavor.
- For a vegan version, substitute the eggs with flax eggs (2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed mixed with 5 tablespoons of water).
