Description

Healthy High Protein Buffalo Chicken Dip is a creamy, spicy, and satisfying party favorite made lighter with Greek yogurt and packed with protein for a guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
  • 1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 4 oz reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Sliced green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and buffalo sauce. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, blue cheese (if using), garlic powder, and pepper until evenly combined.
  4. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm with veggie sticks, whole grain crackers, or toasted pita chips.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, add a splash of milk or a bit more cream cheese.
  • This dip can also be made in a slow cooker on low for 2–3 hours.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
