Ingredients
For the Salad:

4 cups broccoli florets, chopped small

1 large Honeycrisp apple, diced

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup roasted sunflower seeds or chopped pecans

1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

4-6 slices cooked bacon, chopped

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
For the Dressing:

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Salt and pepper, to taste

Prep the ingredients:

Wash and chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Dice the apple (leave the skin on for color and crunch).

Chop bacon and red onion. Shred cheese if using.

In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a large bowl, combine broccoli, apple, cranberries, sunflower seeds, red onion, bacon, and cheese.
