Description

This Irresistible Butter Garlic Salmon is cooked to perfection, with a crispy, golden exterior and a tender, juicy inside. The garlic butter sauce adds a rich, savory flavor that complements the natural taste of the salmon. It’s a quick and delicious meal that’s perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

  • Once the skillet is hot, add the salmon fillets, skin side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes without moving them. This helps to create a crispy skin.

  • Flip the salmon fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  • Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, allowing the sauce to simmer for 1-2 minutes.

  • Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over them. Let the salmon soak in the flavors for another 1-2 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices, if desired.

  • Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce for some heat.

  • Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or a simple salad for a complete meal.

  • If you prefer crispy skin, avoid flipping the salmon too early in the cooking process and allow the skin to crisp up.
