Description

Italian Pinwheels are easy, crowd-pleasing appetizers made by rolling up deli meats, cheese, and Italian-inspired fillings in soft tortillas or flatbreads. Perfect for parties, lunchboxes, or quick snacks.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 slices Genoa salami
  • 8 slices pepperoni
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup chopped roasted red peppers (drained)
  • 1/4 cup chopped banana peppers or pepperoncini (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh spinach or arugula

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and Italian dressing until smooth.
  2. Lay out the tortillas and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture over each.
  3. Layer each tortilla with 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of pepperoni, and 1 slice of provolone cheese.
  4. Sprinkle roasted red peppers, banana peppers (if using), and spinach evenly over the meat and cheese layers.
  5. Roll each tortilla tightly into a log, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Unwrap and slice into 1-inch pinwheels before serving.
