Description

These Jalapeno Popper Crescent Rolls are a perfect combination of creamy, cheesy, and spicy flavors wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. The mild heat from the jalapenos pairs beautifully with the cream cheese and crispy bacon, making them a great appetizer or snack. They’re quick and easy to prepare, perfect for game days, parties, or whenever you’re craving something savory.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, seeded and diced
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Assemble the crescent rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the crescents: Starting at the wide end, roll each crescent up tightly and place them on the prepared baking sheet, point side down.
  5. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Cool and serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave the seeds in the jalapenos or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the filling.
  • You can use turkey bacon or omit the bacon for a vegetarian version.
  • Serve with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce.
