Description

These juicy turkey burgers are made in the air fryer for a quick and healthy meal. With a flavorful seasoning blend, they are tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, etc.

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and egg. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated, but be careful not to overmix.
  2. Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Place the turkey patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes, if desired.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the toasted buns. Add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, cheese, or pickles.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your juicy air fryer turkey burgers!

Notes

  • For extra moisture, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of grated zucchini or finely chopped onions to the turkey mixture.
  • If you prefer a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or some hot sauce to the turkey mixture.
  • These turkey burgers can also be served with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a lighter meal.
