Description
Lasagna Roll-Ups are a fun twist on traditional lasagna, with noodles rolled around a cheesy filling and topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese.

- 10 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain and lay flat on parchment paper or a clean surface.
- In a medium bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of ricotta mixture onto each noodle, then roll them up from one end to the other.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving, if desired.
Notes
- You can prepare the roll-ups ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
- Add cooked spinach or ground meat to the filling for variation.
- Use gluten-free noodles for a gluten-free option.
