- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep the chicken:ย Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. If they are very thick, pound them lightly to an even thickness.
- Season:ย Rub both sides of the chicken with lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and garlic powder.
- Cook the chicken:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes on one side, without moving, until golden brown.
- Flip the chicken, reduce the heat to medium, and add the butter, lemon juice, and zest.

- If using store-bought lemon pepper seasoning, check for added salt and adjust accordingly.
- This recipe works great with chicken thighs as well! Just adjust cooking time as needed.
