Description

These Loaded Cream Cheese Oreo Brownies are everything a dessert lover dreams of—fudgy brownies layered with crushed Oreos, rich cream cheese swirls, and extra chocolate chips for good measure. It’s the perfect mashup of brownies, cheesecake, and cookies in one indulgent bite!

Ingredients

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 10 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped

For the Cream Cheese Swirl:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Topping (optional but amazing):

  • 4 more Oreos, crumbled

  • Extra chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.

  2. Make the brownie batter:
In a medium saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Fold in chocolate chips and chopped Oreos.

  3. Pour into pan:
Spread brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.

  4. Make the cream cheese layer:
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.

  5. Swirl it in:
Dollop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over brownie batter. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl together. Top with crumbled Oreos and a sprinkle of chocolate chips, if using.

  6. Bake:
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. Cool and serve:
Let cool completely in the pan before slicing. Chill for neater slices, if desired.

Notes

  • Use double-stuffed Oreos for an extra creamy cookie layer.

  • These brownies are rich—cut into small squares for serving.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
