Ingredients
-
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
-
2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp whole grain mustard (optional, for texture)
-
1 tsp soy sauce or tamari (optional, for depth)
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
Fresh lemon wedges, for serving
-
Chopped parsley or green onion, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven:
Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish. -
Make the glaze:
In a small bowl, mix Dijon mustard, maple syrup, whole grain mustard (if using), soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. -
Prepare the salmon:
Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet. Spoon the maple mustard glaze evenly over each piece. -
Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is slightly caramelized.
-
Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley or green onion and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Delicious with roasted veggies, rice, or a fresh green salad.
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 15–30 minutes before baking.
You can also cook this on a grill or in an air fryer for a crispier finish.
