For the Taco Shells
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Filling
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices, quartered
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For Topping and Assembly
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Taco Shells – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush each tortilla lightly on both sides with olive oil. Drape tortillas over two bars of an oven rack to shape into a taco shell. Bake for 6-8 minutes, until golden and lightly crispy. Remove and cool.
- Cook the Meats – In a large skillet over medium-high heat, crumble in the Italian sausage. Cook, stirring until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes. Drain excess fat. Add chopped bacon and pepperoni, cooking for 2-3 minutes more to crisp the pepperoni.
- Add Sauce and Seasoning – Reduce the heat to medium-low, stir in pizza sauce, oregano, and garlic powder. Simmer everything together for 2-3 minutes until hot and well combined. Remove from heat.
- Fill and Top the Tacos – Spoon the meat mixture evenly into each taco shell. Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella and a little Parmesan.
- Bake the Tacos – Arrange filled tacos upright in a baking dish lined with foil. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes, just until cheese is melty and bubbly.
- Finish and Serve – Let tacos cool for 2 minutes. Top with chopped fresh basil or parsley if desired. Enjoy hot!

- Swap out meats based on what you have—try Canadian bacon, ham, or ground beef.
