Description

These Meatball Roll-Ups are a fun and delicious twist on traditional meatballs. Tender meatballs wrapped in soft dough, baked to perfection, and served with a savory marinara sauce. Perfect for a family dinner or a party appetizer!

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

For Serving:

  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Meatballs: In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Shape into meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Sprinkle each triangle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, basil, and parsley.
  4. Assemble the Roll-Ups: Place a meatball at the wide end of each dough triangle and roll up. Arrange the roll-ups on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve: Heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan. Serve the Meatball Roll-Ups with warm marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
