For the Crumb Topping:

  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted

For the Glaze (Optional):

  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 2โ€“3 tsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease with nonstick spray.
  2. Make the Crumb Topping: In a small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour in melted butter and mix with a fork until crumbly. Set aside.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
