- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box graham crackers
- 2 pounds fresh strawberries, diced
Instructions
- Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Whip the Cream:
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Combine Mixtures:
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Assemble the Layers:
- In a 13ร9-inch baking dish, place a single layer of graham crackers to cover the bottom.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the graham crackers.
- Sprinkle half of the diced strawberries over the cream layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining graham crackers, cream mixture, and strawberries.
- Chill:
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for 4-5 hours, or until the layers have set and the graham crackers have softened.
Notes
- For a decorative touch, reserve a few whole strawberries to garnish the top before serving.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
