For the Crust:
- 36 Golden Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
For the Cheesecake Layer:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- 1 1/3 cups fresh strawberries, diced
For the Strawberry Jello Layer:
- 1 package (3 ounces) strawberry-flavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt
- 4 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
For the Topping:
- 2–3 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
- 4–5 ounces white chocolate, for curls
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust:
- Place the Golden Oreo cookies (including the filling) in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
- In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter until evenly moistened.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
- Place the dish in the freezer to set while preparing the next layer.
- Make the Cheesecake Layer:
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill.
- Prepare the Strawberry Jello Layer:
- In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in the boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Whisk in the strawberry Greek yogurt until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
- Pour this mixture over the cheesecake layer, smoothing the top.
- Refrigerate for 2โ3 hours, or until the Jello layer is set.
- Add the Topping:
- Once the Jello layer is firm, spread the remaining whipped cream over the top.
- To create white chocolate curls, carefully draw a vegetable peeler across the surface of the white chocolate bar.
- Sprinkle the chocolate curls over the whipped cream layer.
- Chill Before Serving:
- Refrigerate the dessert for an additional 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow all layers to set completely.
- When ready to serve, slice into squares and enjoy this creamy, fruity delight.
Notes
- For the whipped cream, you can use store-bought whipped topping like Cool Whip. You’ll need approximately 22 ounces in total for this recipe.
- If you prefer homemade whipped cream, beat 3ยฝ cups of chilled heavy whipping cream with 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar to taste and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5โ6 days.
