- 1 small onion, diced

- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juices)
- 1 cup beef broth (or water)
- 1 cup elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Cook the Beef:ย In a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.
- Sautรฉ the Aromatics:ย Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and softened.
- Add Tomatoes & Broth:ย Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika, and sugar. Bring to a simmer.
- Cook the Pasta:ย Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to the pot and stir well. Cover and let it cook for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and has absorbed the flavors.
