Description

This One-Minute Microwave Brownie is rich, fudgy, and totally satisfying—made with pantry staples in just 60 seconds! No oven, no fancy equipment, and no waiting. It’s perfect for those late-night chocolate cravings or when you just want a single serving of brownie bliss.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tbsp granulated sugar

Pinch of salt

2 tbsp vegetable oil (or melted butter)

2 tbsp milk (any kind)

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

Ice cream or whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients:
In a microwave-safe mug or small bowl, stir together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.

  • Add wet ingredients:
Stir in oil, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips if using.

  • Microwave:
Microwave on HIGH for 50–60 seconds. The top should look set but still slightly gooey in the center—don’t overcook.

  • Cool slightly and enjoy:
Let sit for 1 minute (it’ll be hot!). Top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired, and dig in!

Notes

Microwave times may vary—start with 50 seconds and add more in 5-second intervals if needed.

Want a molten center? Press a piece of chocolate into the center before microwaving.

Make it dairy-free with almond milk and vegan chocolate chips!
