Description

A decadent fusion of cheeseburger and lasagna featuring layers of garlic-Parmesan bรฉchamel sauce, seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, marinara, and melted cheese.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 68 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk (or milk + heavy cream)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 2 Tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375โ€ฏยฐF (190โ€ฏยฐC).
  2. Cook bacon until crispy; drain, crumble, and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, brown ground beef with onion until cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. Add garlic, cook for about 1 minute, then stir in marinara; simmer for 5โ€“10 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour to make a roux for about 1 minute.
  6. Gradually whisk in milk (and cream if used); cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepperโ€”remove from heat.
  8. In a 9ร—13 dish, layer a thin coat of bรฉchamel, 3 noodles, half meat sauce, bรฉchamel, mozzarella/cheddar, and bacon.
  9. Repeat layering once; top with remaining noodles, sauce, bรฉchamel, cheese, and bacon.
  10. Cover with foil; bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10โ€“15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  11. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing; garnish with parsley if desired.
