- 12 oz penne pasta (or your preferred pasta)
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups pepperoni slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, pepperoni, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine.
- Transfer the pasta mixture to the prepared casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
- Top the casserole with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
