Description

These protein-packed egg white bites are a healthy, low-calorie snack, perfect for a quick breakfast or post-workout meal. Packed with egg whites, veggies, and cheese, they’re a great source of protein.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (any color)
  • 1/4 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (for greasing the muffin tin)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, diced bell peppers, spinach, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Pour the egg white mixture evenly into the muffin tin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and lightly golden on top.
  5. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Use a spoon to gently remove the egg white bites from the muffin tin.
  6. Serve warm, or store in the fridge for up to 3 days. These protein egg white bites are great for meal prep!

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms, tomatoes, or zucchini to customize the flavor.
  • For extra flavor, you can top each bite with a little salsa or hot sauce.
  • If you prefer a dairy-free version, skip the cheese or use a plant-based alternative.
