Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought, thawed)

  • 1/4 cup Nutella (or any chocolate hazelnut spread)

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)

 

  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.

  • Spread a thin, even layer of Nutella over the entire surface of the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.

  • Cut the pastry into strips (about 1-inch wide).

  • Twist each strip gently from both ends to form a spiral or “twist.”

  • Arrange the twists on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it lightly over the tops of the twists for a golden, shiny finish.

  • Sprinkle with a little sugar and cinnamon, if desired.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the twists are golden and puffed.

Notes
