- 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian or dinner rolls)
- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (cut in half to make 12)
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350โฏยฐF (175โฏยฐC). Grease a 9ร13โณ baking dish.
- Slice the slider rolls horizontally, keeping tops and bottoms together.
- Place bottom halves in the baking dish.
- Layer roast beef evenly over the bottom rolls.
- Top each with a half slice of cheddar cheese.
- Place roll tops back on.
- In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
- Cover the dish loosely with foil.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and let rest 2โ3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use Swiss cheese or pepper jack for a different flavor profile.
- Add sliced pickles, caramelized onions, or horseradish sauce for extra zing.
- Sliders can be assembled ahead and refrigerated; add butter mixture just before baking.
- Leftovers can be reheated under the broiler for 1โ2 minutes.
