Description

Mini sandwiches featuring tender roast beef and melted cheddar cheese on buttery slider rolls, perfect for appetizers or a crowd-pleasing snack.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian or dinner rolls)
  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (cut in half to make 12)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350โ€ฏยฐF (175โ€ฏยฐC). Grease a 9ร—13โ€ณ baking dish.
  2. Slice the slider rolls horizontally, keeping tops and bottoms together.
  3. Place bottom halves in the baking dish.
  4. Layer roast beef evenly over the bottom rolls.
  5. Top each with a half slice of cheddar cheese.
  6. Place roll tops back on.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  9. Cover the dish loosely with foil.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are lightly browned.
  11. Remove from oven and let rest 2โ€“3 minutes before serving.
