Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Breading Mix:
    • In a large zip-top plastic bag, combine the breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, celery salt, and onion powder.
    • Seal the bag and shake well to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
    • Add the vegetable oil to the breadcrumb mixture, reseal the bag, and shake until the mixture is well combined and resembles wet sand.
  3. Prepare the Pork Chops:
    • Rinse the pork chops under lukewarm water and pat them dry with paper towels.
    • Brush all sides of the pork chops with olive oil to help the breading adhere.
  4. Coat the Pork Chops:
    • Place one pork chop into the bag with the breading mix. Seal the bag, leaving some air inside, and shake gently to coat the pork chop evenly.
    • Remove the coated pork chop and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Repeat the process for each pork chop, ensuring they are spaced evenly on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
    • Flip the pork chops over and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145ยฐF (63ยฐC) and the breading is golden brown and crispy.
