- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix (chicken flavor)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. Season them with black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a medium bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, and water until well combined. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly on top of the soup mixture.
- If using, add the frozen mixed vegetables evenly across the top of the stuffing.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once done, stir the stuffing and serve the chicken with a little of the stuffing mixture on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot.
