Description

This slow cooker boneless turkey breast is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor thanks to a simple herb butter rub. Perfect for holidays, meal prep, or an easy weeknight dinner. The slow cooker does all the work, and you get turkey that practically melts in your mouth!

Ingredients

  • 1 (2.5 to 3 lb) boneless, skinless turkey breast

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • Optional: Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) for extra aroma

Instructions

Prep the Turkey:

Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil or melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Season:

Rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey breast.

Slow Cook:

Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker. Pour the chicken broth around the sides (not over the top). Add fresh herbs if using.

Cook:

Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Rest and Serve:

Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Optional: broil for 3–4 minutes in the oven to brown the top.

Notes

Leftovers are great for sandwiches, salads, or soups.

To make gravy, strain the slow cooker juices and simmer with a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water).

If your turkey breast has a netting, remove it before seasoning.
