- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thickening)
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours, until heated through and sauce is flavorful.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch slurry during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving, if desired.
