  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and lightly grease a 9ร—13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  • Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling. Donโ€™t worry about spreading it perfectly; it will melt into the cake.
