A refreshing and tangy homemade strawberry lemonade, perfect for hot summer days.

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Lemon slices and strawberry slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine strawberries and 1/4 cup of the water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove seeds.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the remaining 3 3/4 cups of cold water and stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed by adding more sugar or lemon juice.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon and strawberry slices if desired.
Notes
- Use honey or agave syrup instead of sugar for a natural sweetener option.
- For a fizzy version, replace some water with sparkling water before serving.
- Make it a cocktail by adding vodka or rum.
