These adorable strawberry pie hearts are the perfect treat for Valentineโs Day, a romantic dessert, or a sweet snack! Made with flaky pie crust, filled with juicy strawberry jam, and shaped like hearts, theyโre easy to make and sure to impress.

- 2 pre-made pie crusts (or homemade if preferred)
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam (or your favorite fruit jam)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
- Flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the pie crusts to about 1/8-inch thick.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out an even number of heart shapes from the dough.
- Place half of the heart shapes on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon about 1-2 teaspoons of strawberry jam onto the center of each heart, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Brush the edges of the hearts with the beaten egg. Place another heart on top of each filled heart and press the edges together with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops with more egg wash and, if desired, sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Use a sharp knife to cut a small vent on the top of each pie heart.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the hearts are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
Notes
- You can substitute strawberry jam with raspberry, blueberry, or peach jam for variety.
- These pie hearts store well in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
