Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes clear.
- Remove from heat and stir in strawberry gelatin until fully dissolved. Let the mixture cool slightly.
- Arrange fresh strawberries in the pre-baked pie crust.
- Pour the cooled gelatin mixture evenly over the strawberries.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Top with whipped cream before serving, if desired.
