Description

These adorable Strawberry Santas are the perfect festive treat for the holiday season! Made with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate chips, theyโ€™re easy to prepare and a fun addition to any Christmas party or dessert table.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Mini chocolate chips (for the eyes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries:ย Cut the green tops off the strawberries to create a flat base. Then slice off the pointed tip of each strawberry to form Santaโ€™s โ€œhat.โ€
  2. Make the Whipped Cream:ย In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Assemble the Santas:ย Using a piping bag or a small spoon, place a dollop of whipped cream on the flat side of the larger strawberry piece to form Santaโ€™s face and beard.
  4. Add the Hat:ย Place the strawberry โ€œhatโ€ on top of the whipped cream. Add a small dollop of whipped cream on top of the hat to resemble a pom-pom.
  5. Add the Eyes:ย Gently press two mini chocolate chips into the whipped cream to create Santaโ€™s eyes.
  6. Finishing Touches:ย Add small dots of whipped cream down the front to look like buttons if desired.
  7. Chill and Serve:ย Refrigerate until ready to serve to keep the whipped cream firm.

Notes

  • Make sure the strawberries are dry before assembling to prevent the whipped cream from sliding off.
  • You can use sweetened cream cheese instead of whipped cream for a sturdier filling.
  • These are best served the same day to keep them fresh and cute!
