  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Mini chocolate chips (for the eyes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Cut the green tops off the strawberries to create a flat base. Then slice off the pointed tip of each strawberry to form Santa’s “hat.”
  2. Make the Whipped Cream: In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Assemble the Santas: Using a piping bag or a small spoon, place a dollop of whipped cream on the flat side of the larger strawberry piece to form Santa’s face and beard.
  4. Add the Hat: Place the strawberry “hat” on top of the whipped cream. Add a small dollop of whipped cream on top of the hat to resemble a pom-pom.
  5. Add the Eyes: Gently press two mini chocolate chips into the whipped cream to create Santa’s eyes.
  6. Finishing Touches: Add small dots of whipped cream down the front to look like buttons if desired.
