- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix Batter: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts (if using).
- Bake: Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool & Serve: Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
Notes
- For extra gooey blondies, remove from the oven when the center is slightly underbaked. They will set as they cool.
- Swap macadamia nuts for pecans or almonds for a twist!
- Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top for a sweet and salty combo.
