Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 12 oz pink candy melts
- 12 oz red candy melts
- 12 oz white candy melts
- Lollipop sticks
- Assorted Valentine’s sprinkles
- Optional: edible glitter for extra sparkle
Instructions
- Prepare the Oreos: Gently separate the Oreo cookies, being careful not to break them. Place a lollipop stick into the cream filling, then sandwich the cookie back together.
- Melt the candy melts: In separate bowls, melt the pink, red, and white candy melts according to the package instructions (typically in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between).
- Dip the Oreos: Dip each Oreo pop into the melted candy coating, ensuring it’s fully covered. You can use a spoon to help coat the Oreo evenly. Gently tap off any excess candy coating.
- Decorate: Immediately after dipping, sprinkle Valentine’s sprinkles on top, and if using, add some edible glitter for sparkle. Place the decorated Oreo pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Let them set: Allow the Oreo pops to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or refrigerate them for 10-15 minutes until the candy coating is firm.
- Serve and enjoy: Once set, your Valentine’s Day Oreo Pops are ready to enjoy or package as gifts!
Notes
- You can get creative with the decorations by using heart-shaped sprinkles, or adding fun designs with contrasting colors of candy melts by drizzling.
- Store the Oreo pops in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
