Ingredients

Units Scale

Crust:

  • 2 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers or Oreos (about 20 cookies)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup chopped Twix bars

Topping:

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup melted chocolate (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup chopped Twix bars

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a bowl, mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter until well combined.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes while preparing the cheesecake layer.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Layer:
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
    • Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
    • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks, then fold it gently into the cream cheese mixture.
    • Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce over the crust.
    • Fold the chopped Twix bars into the cheesecake filling, then spread the mixture evenly over the crust.
  3. Top and Decorate:
    • Drizzle the cheesecake with caramel sauce, spreading it evenly.
    • Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer and spread it gently with an offset spatula.
    • Sprinkle chopped Twix bars on top for decoration.
  4. Chill:
    • Cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight, to set completely.
  5. Serve:
    • Carefully remove the springform pan and slice the cheesecake. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For best results, allow the cheesecake to set overnight.
  • Use high-quality caramel sauce and chocolate for the best flavor.
  • You can substitute the Twix bars with similar candy bars if desired.
